If you are a 21 weeks pregnant mom, put your feet up and relax! Yes! It’s week 21 and the prior expression although is meant to ask you to relax and take it easy, you probably actually need it because probably at about this time you might be starting to experience some foot swelling, and raising your feet might increase your comfort level whether at home or at a desk job.

If you haven’t already found the perfect position, your feet will practically be begging you to do it in this and subsequent weeks. Most expectant moms at this time take frequent walks and drink plenty of water. To keep well hydrated and healthy after-all most of your baby bump is made up of baby’s cushion pool of water.

You have by now noticed that baby is getting more active as your pregnancy week by week grows. And this week in particular, You have most likely experienced more pronounced fetal movements. As a result, you now most likely feel an increasingly stronger bond with your growing little one at this point in time. Soon, these fetal movements will settle into a pattern, where you will be able to predict when the little one is up for soccer practice and when they are resting.

To share a handy tip here: if you haven’t been doing it already, acquire some good moisturizing cream and rub your belly at least twice a day. Besides growing your bond with the unborn baby, it should help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

At this 21 weeks pregnant stage, rapid eye movement has been added to realm of possibilities in your little one’s world.  It is thought that he or she can now dream. And this is the basic reason why most people think its a pretty good idea to play some calming music, talking to him/her calmly, can enable baby drop into a nice peaceful dream.

Second trimester of pregnancy also holds the continuation of the fetal digestive system, which will be required by the growing baby as they extract nutrition out of your amniotic fluid. In the coming weeks, baby will be putting on more weight as a result of this nutrition as additional layers of fat.

As you’re probably still spending many nights counting sheep and getting little sleep in between, fatigue may keep creeping up on you during the day. Catch some shuteye whenever you can. Then go out and have some fun. This is a good time while most of the discomforts are behind you, you can still see your toes and delivery is not yet looming over you.

If you are 21 weeks pregnant, devise ways to de-stress or keep stress-free. Keep yourself feeling attractive; Do your manicure, buy pretty sandals and while you are at it, do some shopping for the coming baby. To keep it light and fun, take a friend along.
